Privacy Policy — AGROW Keyword Research

Last updated: 25 September 2026

Operator: AGROW LLC

About the application

AGROW Keyword Research is an internal tool that retrieves, processes and exports keyword data through the Google Ads API. It runs locally on a computer operated by AGROW’s owner. It is not a public web application and does not provide accounts to the general public.

This policy covers the application’s handling of Google API data and authorization credentials.

Information we access

The application retrieves keyword ideas and aggregated historical metrics, including search volumes, monthly trends, advertising competition and bid estimates where available.

It also uses the configured Google Ads account identifier, reads the account currency and retrieves geographic targeting information. Research inputs include keywords and keyword-group labels supplied by the operator.

The keyword statistics are aggregated market information, not individual users’ private search histories. The application does not request Gmail messages, Drive files, contacts or Google profile information.

Google authorization

The application uses Google OAuth with a desktop application client and requests the following scope:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords

This scope permits broader Google Ads operations than reading data alone. The current application uses it to retrieve keyword research data and supporting account information. It does not create or modify campaigns, advertisements, bids or budgets.

OAuth credentials and tokens are used to authenticate requests to Google.

How we use information

We use the retrieved information to process and structure keyword research results and produce exports for advertising planning.

The application initially focuses on wine-related searches in Hong Kong. Its current functionality is data retrieval, processing and export.

Storage and protection

Research outputs, cached responses, diagnostic records and authorization credentials are stored locally on the computer operated by AGROW’s owner.

Result files contain keyword statistics, research settings and the configured advertising account identifier. Diagnostic records may contain technical or account-related identifiers.

Credentials are loaded from local configuration files or environment variables rather than embedded in application source code. Credential files and research output folders are excluded from Git tracking through the project configuration.

Data retention

Research result exports are retained for up to 12 months. Cached responses and diagnostic records, including error reports, are retained for up to 90 days. These files are deleted when their retention periods expire.

Authorization credentials are retained while needed to operate the connection and are deleted when that connection is retired or the credentials are no longer required.

Data sharing

The application communicates with Google to authorize access and retrieve information through the Google Ads API. Its current code does not transmit research results to other service providers.

AGROW does not sell Google user data or provide it to data brokers or information resellers.

Revoking access and requesting deletion

The Google account holder can revoke the application’s access through the third-party connections settings in their Google Account.

Revoking access does not delete information already stored locally.

To request deletion of stored information associated with this application, contact agrow.armenia@gmail.com. AGROW will delete the relevant research files and authorization credentials under its control, as applicable to the request.

Changes to this policy

We will keep this policy up to date. Before accessing additional categories of Google user data or using existing data for a new purpose, we will update the relevant disclosures and obtain renewed consent from the authorizing user.
